Avionics Engineer

Lead avionics integration and systems work on TAMM modernization programmes. You will own subsystem decisions across the Su-25NG and adjacent fixed-wing lines.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate new avionics subsystems (navigation, communication, display, EW) onto existing combat airframes.
  • Author and review interface control documents, wiring diagrams, and bench-test procedures.
  • Coordinate with the Design Bureau and Quality Assurance teams during ground and flight test campaigns.
  • Diagnose anomalies during integration testing and document root-cause analyses for the customer file.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in avionics, electronics, aerospace, or a closely related field.
  • Three or more years of hands-on experience integrating systems onto military aircraft (fixed-wing preferred).
  • Working knowledge of MIL-STD interfaces (1553, ARINC 429 / 664), test equipment, and aircraft electrical systems.
  • Comfortable on a workshop floor: gloves on, schematics open, technicians around you.
  • Fluent English. Russian or Georgian is a strong plus.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Su-25, L-39, or Mi-24/Mi-8 airframes.
  • Familiarity with EASA, FAA, or national-defense certification frameworks.
  • Background in EW or radar systems.
